Itinerary
The drive to Butchart is 40 minutes from the city, along the way I’ll give you some fun facts and history of Victoria and Vancouver Island.
A visit to the world-renowned Butchart Gardens is something not to be missed. This 55 Acres, National Historic Treasure of lush greens and colorful Blooms will delight everyone. Explore at your leisure, soaking in the amazing flora and fauna typically takes 1-1. 5 hours on average.
Following the Gardens, you will indulge in the local libations of your choice, crafted Wine, Cider, Gin or maybe other delicious spirits. The small estate vineyards/ Orchards are producing award-winning bottles and the offer fantastic views to enhance your island experience.
This is an excellent Tour if you have seen the City Highlights or simply have an interest in a country experience over the hustle and bustle of the city. Participants in wine tasting must be 19 years old and have photo id.

NOTES:
Butchart Gardens is a 40-minute drive from the city. Traffic delays may occur. I will do my best to adjust the Tour time accordingly where possible.
Wear comfortable shoes and dress in layers as the weather can sometimes turn quickly and can be cool by the ocean, yet hot in other locations.
Wine & spirit locations can vary depending on time of day, season and availability (Covid restrictions may affect the availability – we will communicate details as necessary)
ADD ON OPTIONS:
Take the Scenic Ocean drive home with a quick stop for shopping and ice cream at the quaint Mattick farm, see the majestic old growth forest of Mount Doug Park and finish with a birds eye view of Victoria before heading back to the city. If time permits we may extend the scenic route to include the Mansions along the beautiful Uplands neighborhood and see the beautiful Oak Bay Marina.

- Sea Glass: A charming small restaurant located at the Marina in Sidney. Menu: Soups, Salads & Sandwiches
- 10 Acres Bistro: Located at the Pier in Sidney. 10 Acres offers a great bistro menu and is the best Farm to Table restaurant in the city.
- Butchart Gardens: Dine at the former home of the Butchart Family with white tablecloth service and fantastic, elegant menu or Afternoon tea. Also available is a picnic style lunch.
