Corks and Canvas May 13, 2015
An evening to explore all your senses! I was lucky enough to be invited to “Corks and Canvas” event this month held at the Stunning Robert Bateman Centre. This was an intimate gathering of about 25 all of whom attended to be inspired and discover their inner artist.
Kimberly Dean a wonderfully talented local artist lead the group and offered tips and suggestions as our works progressed.
And to boost our creativity the fabulous Award Winning Unsworth Vineyard provided some outstanding wine. Wine, canapés, brush and canvas, enjoyable company and the amazing work of Robert Bateman surrounding us….. What more could you ask for!

They can see the art, listen to laughter and learnings from our host and educators, taste the delights that the island has to offer and touch their own brush to a canvas.”
Rumor has it this may become a series of events offered by the Bateman gallery which may include other locations, Victoria Inner Harbour and Unsworth Vineyard. I’ll be checking the calendar for this again. An outstanding evening. My new painting is proudly hung in my home!
