I was born and raised an Albertan prairie girl. After graduating in Edmonton I moved to Vancouver then, Toronto with ambition for a career in acting and modelling. Over a ten-year time span, I had a successful modelling career and was able to travel to exotic places like Japan, Egypt, Morocco, Italy and Peru. It was an exciting time in my life and I feel very fortunate for the experience.

In 1991 my career as a parent began and the next 14 years was focused on my two daughters and a husband with itchy feet… Business opportunities and just pure adventure took us to many different places; Vancouver & Kelowna, BC; Dallas, TX; Paul’s Valley, Oklahoma (good eyes if you can spot that one on a map!); Miami, Orlando and Coral Springs, Florida; Back to Alberta for a few years and then off to Honolulu Hawaii. Wow, sometime even I can’t believe it!

It was my connections in Honolulu where I learned to appreciate the Travel and Tourism business. During the three years on the islands, I had the good fortune to be offered a job as Mbassador for Canada’s Premier Luxury Destination Club M. Private Residences. And it was this position that brought me to Victoria. I feel very fortunate to be able to continue to work with this exciting and dynamic company.

I am now more involved with the Travel and Tourism companies in Victoria than ever before and am bursting at the seams to get blogging about everything. There is so much here to do and see, I have to pinch myself every day remembering that I actually live in the beautiful city, Victoria, British Columbia.
